Time for me to work on projects

The cold has been hovering around -15 for last few days and so it continues. I did the usual feed dog and cat (Stella went out yesterday and in barn) and get coffee rolling. Yesterday's blog had more pics added and published. S grabbed a banana and off to church. I headed to the garage to work on the MCM dresser.

More power sanding led to more wood filled areas and another veneer glue. The white pieces were sanded and a 2nd coat applied as well as the sides painted first coat. B dropped off Cooper before 10:30 and was off to another seminar. Not long and she was back with car issues. She and I flushed J’s wound and gave meds after lunch.

S was home from church around noon staying late for a pancake breakfast. He did pick up sushi I had requested for my brunch, thanks. He helped B source the one tire she missed power washing in hopes of fixing tire issue. One area was causing the problem. Once ice was tapped out they drove to mail to show all was good. B cleaned the barn area, THANK YOU! She then was back to her abode to do laundry leaving Coop here. I worked on the cabinet tutorial as the gal sent a picture. Not the best finished photo but have asked for a better one. If not, it will have to do.

I continued with hand sanding on the dresser wood areas. I had S help me move the sideboard to washing area and applied the stripper. He ran the poop wagon to the pit then inside play brain games. While the stripper went to work I came in to challenge S to a few Tantrix games. Another coat was added as still no real lift yet.

I tried again but no luck on the stripper working so added more and came in to cook supper. Taco Sunday was enjoyed with Britt back to join us. I went out to start scraping the old finish at 6:15. S cleaned up supper and B came out and cleaned J's wound before she and Cooper headed home at 7. I finished up scraping and neutralizing the sideboard after 1 1/2 hours.

S was still going on his Flow crushing levels. I hopped in the shower then into bed to finish my library book. Then I perused the top reading lists and ordered a few more.
