Hot horse ride

The heat wave continues. It was 23 degrees at 10 when S ran for the mail. He warmed his truck to change the oil. I was catching up on the blog. It looks like my blog break was short lived HAHA. There will be a big break next week when we get away camping.

S changed oil in truck. I hauled the angel out and snapped a few pictures. The shoots coming up from lilac tree were corralled and tied to the post in hopes of seeing what might grow. My zucchinis are starting to grow. I cut 3 to take on holidays.

Our grocery list was fine tuned. S need an air filter and more oil. He backed out the fireball. It was our ride to town in the 29 degree heat. We picked up these parts, booze and groceries. Back at the ranch it rose to 30 then 31 by supper. Steaks nearly cooked themselves on the BBQ in this heat.

Sharon and Shelby were out at 7. Shelby brought her dog too which was a fun buddy for Har. They both came along for the ride. Luckily there was a bit of a breeze. We also rode along the west tree line for a bit too for some shade. Sheldon thought it a good idea to shoot a gopher while we were riding too.

After our ride they were off for home. S had ran over to try and get a photo of the fireball in front of a canola field but there was people there doing the same idea. He snapped more at home. He and I had a hot tub when it cooled down before calling it a night.
