Saturday started at - 22 and time to get coffee going. S had let H out at 6 then into her kennel sleeping till I fed her and delivered a hot cup to his bedside as he napped in today.
Time to write some posts, first Hometalk for the custom coffee table then one for the warm white dining table. S moved to big brown after his relaxing start to Saturday. Marketing and computer work was up for me.
I commissioned S to do some Christmas art :)
I hauled up the tree decoration box and got it simply done. S made us grilled cheese sandwich's for an early lunch. We were just finishing when B and Coop arrived at noon. She and I went out and fed horses and removed blankets as warning up to -12 now. She filled salt/minerals while I headed back into sand the table and glue some lifted veneer.
S started his task of replicating the missing decorative corner support. The first couple did not pan out as planned. I continued on the table cleaning, slider and underside moisturizer. Hand sanding & power sanding and gluing bubbled veneer and cracked legs filled my time along with wood filling other spots. S eventually had luck with the soft wood I suggested he originally try. He even was able to router the holes then after cutting the shape sanded and filled the holes.
Time for a beer after 2 1/2 hours in. I painted a mirror I cleaned up yesterday the soft green of the recent jewelry box after much deliberation. Things were tidied up including brushes washed then into work on the blog.
S suggested a hot tub as it was now FINALLY -8 ish out so we went. Harley too who was not a real fan of sitting out there. The sun was setting which was pretty but it still felt freezing out.

After a quick rinse I started prepping veggies for our supper then threw in the oven, S started a fire and kicked back in big brown in his underwear after a tug with H to peruse the net. I cooked the chicken up and we had a tasty supper. I finished the series Dead to Me in front of the fire while S watched 2 hockey games from big brown. After scrubbing H's cheek I was off to bed to start a new series; Wednesday based on the Addam's Family of long ago.
