I awoke at 8 but lay quietly until I heard Mom up in the kitchen I got the coffee brewing. Mom started her car and brought in some items then she and I unloaded a vanity that was bequeathed to me from a Cereal gal who delivered it right to her house. (Thank you Judy!) She had her coffee and a visit now S was out as well before heading to town after 9.
I joined in via speakerphone to Dad's health meeting at 10. There was talk of moving him down a floor to the actual dementia unit but it was decided not to at this time as staff on his unit are getting refresher course how to work with the patients.
I put a roast in the slow cooker at 11. It was -5 but there was a biting wind. S pressure washed the bison blood off his truck and out of the box. I packaged up gifts to go to Oyen when Mom goes back.
We were off to town dropping trash off first before heading to Walmart for gift shopping. We grabbed a tea next then picked up Cooper from B's. Library books were picked up next then the online grocery order. This was a super easy way to get groceries and I think will work very well when I have S grab stuff in the future; no guesswork for him what was on the list. Our last stop was to fill the truck with fuel.
Back to the ranch Cooper was off for a jaunt and I let H out as well as we unloaded the truck. Thankfully the wind was gone and -4 felt lovely. The online grocery order was great seeing the boxes were sorted as to pantry, freezer and fridge so makes easy to take right to the spot. Once I got things put away and finished my tea the dogs and I headed out to feed the horses while S had a nap on the couch.
I was bringing dogs in but Cooper decided to stay out for a few loops. When barking I looked out to see 2 coyotes not far from the house that he was keeping at bay. By the time S got his gun they were too far and in a non favorable direction. Time to put the kitties away for the night. I worked on accounting as the potato's cooked to go along with the roast. I continued on with blog updates and such while S watched hockey from the couch. I worked on my gift list, ordered photos online while watching my iPad. S went out for a hot tub before 8 between hockey periods then back in to the game.
B fell asleep after work so was not out till just before 9 to pick up Cooper. I loaded her up with boxes too for her packing. I moved from computer work then to bed to watch more Buying Beverly Hills for a short bit with Mom arriving back soon after B left. A visit was had while she had her supper and dessert then both of us were off to bed to watch our shows. S came up from sports TV at 11:30 to get some shut eye.
