Hockey and hot tub

The pattern has not changed with H wanting out at 2:15, I sent her to garage where she went back to sleep till I awoke at 8. I got the coffee going and fed her and the cats who have been enjoying the warm garage for last few days. S was served a hot cup in bed to start the day. It was a cold -22 our but warming up and should get to close to zero or above tomorrow. I worked on my marketing and computer work while S read his online news.

Soup for lunch then loaded up and headed to town. S was dropped at the arena at 1 for his debut shinny game. I was off to pick up some prescriptions, a library book then stop at Paetz's to check in on their table. I applied a coat of clear wax and buffed it up and after a short visit was off to next task. Groceries at Walmart and a hot tea from Tim's then off to pick up the skater. The day had warmed up to -10!

He and Dave were chatting in the parking lot after their skate. Picking up beer and baileys was next before dumping the trash at the dump. We were back at the ranch before 4 to unload and put away groceries. Then it was time to soak in the hot tub. This is my first tub in a long time. Crazy how early the sun sets now but it sure was pretty on the snow-covered ranch.

Check out the crazy icicle in the bison skull's eye

Flames play the Bruins tonight at 5 so while the game started I put cabbage rolls compliments of Ma K in the oven and awaited Britt and Dave who will join us. Bruins are Dave's team so should be a good rivalry game. They arrived at 6 with us eating a bit later. Once the game ended with the Bruins at the winners we got the cards out. The evening was spent playing cards including learning a new game called track rummy from Dave.

They headed home at 10:30 then we started the Succession episode but S was asleep in not very long so I moved on to watching Buying Beverly Hills.
