I am not a fan of this internal wakeup time for both H and I around 7:30 am but at least most days have a pretty sunrise. Time to peruse Insta and play some brain game. The dog and cats were fed as S made coffee then I got busy moving my items in and back down to the "store". I almost considered doing another market seeing all was ready to go but that passed. Then it was on to posting the remaining pieces on all the sale sites and updating my spreadsheet etc. S read his book in big brown then prepped another HF meal : salmon salad at 11 for our brunch while I typed and sorted.
He helped me slide the dresser out for pick up later then I moved the round dining table around to the work area. The TV stand was picked up at 1, another piece moved.. yeah me! Organizing and sweeping I found a plastic tablecloth Ma K had gifted us in a bag of quilts I did not know about and just so happen to be looking for one for our trailer.. SCORE!
The storage area was looking ship shape so moved on to scrubbing Paetz's table, take it apart and set up the paint stations. S took occasional baseball breaks to come swat flies but they never seem to be less. I put two coats of grey primer on the table pedestal and apron and did more wood filler repairs on the leaf.
The day started sunny then became hazy with smoke but did hit 26+. When the ball game ended we went out to repair the area by back door where the dogs dig to go under the deck. It has been repaired a few times each time with a new idea, this time we added stucco screen nailed in between the dirt, landscape fabric and gravel after putting in wood blocking to fill the hole. This should work. The dresser/mirror were picked up mid project allowing H to be fed her supper by S.Wanting to get another project underway I chose the antique rocker. The caning was partially out so after watching a video I started working at removing it. An hour later I had it all out then gave it a good scrub. Leaving it to dry I went to soak in the hot tub. A shower and bed with my iPad ended the day while tickling someone's back :)
