Hot, dry and hazy

Just after 7 seems to be mine and H new routine for last few weeks. She does wait beside the bed for me to get up and let her out then I play a few brain games. J was waiting for his raw food and last meds when I fed H and got coffee on. Today wouldn't you know it the patient was ready for a second cup having refused coffee most days and only 1 cup last few days. He made a second pot as I was working on marketing and he up for 10 am baseball game.

We then went out in the 27 and rising heat for him to clean the hot tub filters and me to water planters and garden then run the huge box and bag full of cables to the gate for pickup. S was back in big brown watching ball as I gave Harley a nice refreshing bath. Of course she then laid on garage floor.

Mom arrived at noon dropping of loads of fresh veggies for us then off to see Dad. I whipped up the last Hello Fresh meal ; pork spring roll bowls. It was ok and filling especially for s who made a toasted BTA sandwich to go with his plate. Back to the ball game for him while I brewed and bottled orange kombucha. It is another scorcher out there at +32, whew!

Up next was working on tutorials with a break to add a clear coat to that jar i started last week. It wont take long to dry at todays temp esp in the garage. I finished 2 full tutorials and almost done the 3rd. This is perfect time to do them when so hot as now 33 out. S moved from baseball to football getting in his sports for the day. I cooked up burger and spiralized zucchini to make my casserole and put in the oven while S started BBQ and put the corn on. S even got dressed for the 2nd time since surgery.. this time in soft sweats which were a much better choice then denim shorts. :)

B and Coop were out at 5:30 with her hosing the horses who loved it. While the casserole cooked I created a post on Hometalk for Dad's table. B and S played a round of crib once she was inside waiting for supper. Mom arrived around 6:30 to join us for supper and dessert. After supper B was off to ride Roo, after dessert Mom caught up on emails, S more sports and I tidied up & watered plants. Dave arrived as it was getting dark from a successful race day. He had dessert then he and S had 3 rousting games of crib. Mom was off to bed, Sheldon to shower with B and Coop heading home and Dave following after filling Mom's car with windshield wiper fluid. The evening was finished up with some Making the Cut for me whilst tickling S's arm.
