Custom rocking chair underway

Today after my after 7 wakeup game play, I turned on the coffee and got H new 7.5 pound raw meat chub and cut into servings. She patiently waited as I made the milk kefir too and poured in the ice cube trays. Finally, she got to eat sharing a bit of raw with Stella before she went outside. I went and let the boys out of the barn after a cup of coffee. S and Mom were now up to grab a cup too.

While S and Mom discussed wind power I wrote a Hometalk post for the blue dresser from awhile back. Mom headed to visit Dad before 10. I wrote another Hometalk post for the harlequin chair. S worked online in big brown. The day is sunny but blustery and around 10 so far.

Time to get to work on the projects, I scrubbed up the custom rocking chair, wiped and let dry well. The antique rocker was brought in and S and I had leftovers for lunch. Doug A stopped out at 12:30 for a visit. I was sanding the rocking chair outside and stopped to catch up on his wife Toby's medical issues that have him in the city. I left the boys to visit, finished the sanding and started the primer coat.

Doug left at 2 with S back to the big brown and baseball. After finishing the primer coat I transplanted and planted 3 spider plants. I convinced S to come outside in the gorgeous non windy sunny but only 18-degree day. He did move a bag of wood to the back deck then started to organize putting equipment in the shop. The swather battery was dead however and needed charging.

I was back out sanding the chair at customer request as she did not like the character marks, I did question this before I started but did not make it clear that intense sanding would be required if not. S pressure washed his toys on the lawn. The rocking chair had a second coat of primer added and left to dry.

I spiralized zucchini to go with souvlaki and corn on cob. B opened the winter pasture for the 3 horses closing the middle paddock off and filling water tank. S came in and BBQ the pork sticks and we all ate. B and Coop were then off home after putting Stella int eh garage. She tried to put boys in barn but skid steer was not pulled in enough, so S went to pull in and close the door. He put J away but no G to be found he says. I was working on computer and saw G in east paddock so went and put him in and played a bit of ball with H but it is brisk with no sun even 16 out. I put another coat of primer on the chair seat just before Mom arrived at 8. She ate and visited till we all headed to bed at the usual 9. S and I finished the series Buy My House then I started a new one called Instant Dream Home where they completely remodel a house in 12 hours!!
