We had a usual start to the day then loaded up H and pulled out with the trailer to head to Mclean Creek at 10. The other stayed to run to town for groceries and such. We made the 98 km drive, picked and paid for 2 sites, filled with water and parked the trailer on C109. We chose a power site so the dogs would have A/C when we are out on the trails. We then headed back to the ranch for load number 2.
The gang was still in town so we hooked up the ranger/trailer and waited for them to return. They were now looking for a ATV battery with no luck so we threw in booster cables and waited at the gate. Once they were in sight we made our journey back to the campsite arriving after 3. They got pulled in and set up then we took a short trip out on the machines.
Back at the trailers I fed H then prepped our bison roast supper and a kale salad. It was yummy. We went back out for another short ride with Karen and Chad staying back to relax. We found many puddles and fun to be had before returning to enjoy a fire. S had a shower before bed then we started the movie Hustle. We shut it off getting tired but wouldn’t you know it I could not fall asleep till wee hours.
It was an amazing day in spite of the mud!
