The mornings are later here with the time change but I always check my watch thru the night not getting the best sleep. Another gauge is hearing the tower clock on the hour most of the times ;) Coffee and tea were made, I had a shower then we were ready to head out after 11. Our plan was to take the Hop On Hop Off bus tour today but S decided last night he wanted a father day blue jay cap so our first stop was walking to the blue Jays store. No luck with his size left but he did leave with a new cap.
We got to the
HOHO sales point, paid and hustled to the boat tour thinking it set off at 12 but it was a wait of course. Once on we sat in the bow on folding chairs which was probably better in the end then the benches up top or inside. It was about 45 minutes and neat to see the Toronto islands which neither of us knew existed but it was definitely something we could have done at the end and missed if no time left to see.
The next bus was to arrive at 1:40 leaving us 15 minutes to grab Tim's once again for a snack; iced coffee and a muffin thinking we might get off par way long and eat. Note to others eat before you go of grab food to eat on the bus. The weather was sunny and beauty but started to cloud over once the bus got going. The information was very detailed and informative. There was a 15 minute stop at the main stop of Younge & Dundas then looped around and back to the start for us at the harbor before 4.

Here is a video of our upper deck view
This is the clock out our room window to the east in the financial district
We walked up to
The Pint Public House hitting happy hour ($6 drinks) starting with chicken wings then adding chicken tacos & a Ruben. It was ok food but even with cheap drinks the bill was $$ with HST and tips. S missed seeing where the Leafs and Raptors play so we set off after 6 to find the Scotia Arena. We found it no problem then walked back up thru the financial district to the park across from us then up to our room by 7.
check out the new BJ cap
Another video view to share
This is RBC and yes they used real gold leaf on the exterior.. great use of our $$ right?
It felt good to relax on the comfy bed. S tried to get a swim at the Hilton seeing the pool here is under repair but no luck so it was only hockey night in the Sheraton room while I called to chat with Dad for belated Father's Day then catch up the blog for last 2 days. The relaxing evening was a nice change.
