Harley wanted out after 5 which is unusual as of late but it turns out Sheldon was up to get water and go to the bathroom so she came in. The crazy chinook winds picked up like crazy around 6 and blew all day. I soaked the horse feed for B to feed before we go but it is pretty yucky out. S got coffee going and we prepped to head out.
We arrived at Ma and Pa’s before noon, unloaded dogs and coolers and bags. S had a cabbage roll as B, Coop and Shaina arrived. Sheldon and I headed over to pick up Dad who was all ready to go with his winter boots and hat. We made a quick stop to look at 2 trailers; a used one for $68K and a new one for $148K!!! But one sale for $128m wow great deal LOL
Back at Ma and Pa’s the girls had made coffee for our visit. We also played cards and had loads of snacks and Dad’s favourite ice cream.
Sheldon and I took him back to the cottage arriving just a wee bit late for his 4:30 supper then back to help get the turkey supper on. It was delicious as usual. On our way back I had the cash register chime for an Etsy sale!! My green trinket box to Brooklyn NY!!
this homemade cheesecake was so yummy!!
Britt, cooper and Harley headed back to Strathmore at 6:30, thanks B for taking H for a fun sleepover. She and Dave also went and fed the horses and cats too once she was home. Candace popped over after supper and kindly redid my nails. THANK YOU!! The ladies played cards while the fellows watched hockey and of course the evening was filled with loads of food. In bed I tried to find Victoria on CBC Gem which it no longer has so started the documentary series; The Royal House of Windsor.
