Another similar morning with coffee and breakfast with the Schmitt's. I finally snapped pictures of Steph's treasure box as Deb worked on new shirts for us celebrating the ATV trip.
We all (inc Shaina) jumped in the Schmitt mobile and were off to town to Origin's for lunch and brewery stop. The patio was perfect to enjoy our delicious beer and meals.
The next stop was the local meat place but it ended a bust for summer sausage but Harley got a huge bone thanks to Deb. She and I ran into the grocery store quick while the guys and Shaina drove over for fuel and a booze run before picking us up and back to the ranch. Shaina headed back to work and we waited for Kaylin and Devon to arrive. Amanda thought the kids didn't want to hike but would join for a visit before we set off to the river. They all arrived at the same time sans Craig who ran to Oyen last night.

We visited in the sunshine before loading up and heading to the river in 4 vehicles due to dogs and kids. Another gorgeous weather day for a nature day. There were 8 adults, 4 kids and 5 dogs (Clover stayed home, shhh dont tell her) exploring Johnson's island.
Amanda and Archie had to leave early for Arch's first hockey game. The rest of us were loaded up and heading back to the ranch where dogs were bathed, beverages cracked and food cooking. Britt and Cooper arrived to to join in on the family fun.
Hot dogs were ready first with tacos bringing up the rear. Birthday cupcakes were dessert celebrating early Kaylin's 30th birthday. Amanda, Archer and Craig arrived just as were were cleaning up the food to play cards. Pass the ace was enjoyed by most. Kaylin, Devon and the Paetz's were all heading home at 10 leaving Shaina, Brit, Chuck Deb, Sheldon and I to play Five Crowns. Britt and Coop were off then after 11 and the rest of us were off to bed. Of course I had to watch some Netflix.
