Is it really Sunday?

Today does NOT feel like Sunday which I felt yesterday was so it is a bonus day :) Coffee was served in bed after I fed H. Once up, the last of the vacuuming was done and all put away. Time to catch up on marketing, I wrote a Hometalk post for the sunflower jewelry box. Sheldon buffed the last of his truck, had some brunch, loaded his golf clubs and off to town after 11. He let the horses out on his way so I went to close the yard gate. However I was too slow for Pepper who took a shortcut thru the yard requiring me to go let him out the back gate. While out I uncovered my cantaloupes and gave them and the zucchinis some water. Britt and Cooper were out just before noon to make food then she walked out and caught Switch and Bird. I met her at the gate, we tacked up and headed into the neighbors south pasture. It was sunny and 21 but sooo windy. 

After our loop we both worked on trot/canter circles and such before she fed the horses while I tweaked Switch's feet before her release. I then swooped around the yard having spied lots of dog poop then in to get back to computer work with a kombucha.

B and Coop were off around 2:30 with S getting back home before 3. He poured us a cold beer delivering mine to the office as I continued to sort photos; edit/resize/put in folders, drank his and was sound asleep on the couch. I dug new potatoes to go with the garden fresh zucchinis and other veggies along with steak. It was delicious. We caught a wee bit of the news before deciding to go for a river walk seeing it is such a lovely night and they are calling for the weather to drop mid week. We walked the north side as the sun quickly set, H enjoying it immensely.

Back at the ranch it was time for a soak in a hot tub then Netflix for me and internet/sports on TV for S before wrapping up the weekend with a sleep. What a busy but great family week.
