Off to Oyen

Shaina was up around 6:30 to grind coffee and make her cappuccino to take to her 7 am meeting. I let H out a bit later then was up at 8 to prep to head to Oyen. I did some marketing, fed H and packed her food for the trip and some for when home. Blinds closed and pots watered seeing more heat is ahead. 

Drinks were packed including kombucha for mom to try. Shaina was finished her last call after 9 and we along with Harley were ready to go at 9:30. A quick stop at the grocery store for potato salad, Tim's for breakfast and a hot tea then last stop was to fuel up and on the road at 10.

We stopped to say hit to Grandma and Grandpa Ball at the cemetery then took the back roads thru Grandma Thompson's then to Mom and Dad's.

Mom got home not long after, we loaded up and to town for lunch. Shaina worked on the drive over but had more to do so she and Sheldon went back to the farm for her to work. Mom and I went for groceries, mail then to pick up Dad from the hospital. It was hot at 31 again. Auntie Mindy was at the house visiting with S&S so we all had a cold beverage and visited before she headed home.

Paetz's and Dale's joined us for a barbeque supper and visit. There was a couple loud thunder booms but nothing happened.  B text there was a storm brewing at home and it did rain but think only in town once she was back to her place, rats. Mom took Dad back to the hospital after 9 and everyone headed home around 11. We finished cleaning up and off to bed. Happy birthday Candace P!
