Dresser and chair complete

It was clear skies at 7:30 when I let H out and opened the garage but by breakfast time the smoke rolled in. Prince is cutting out coffee so I had an iced coffee and did my marketing. Pepper got his pills and the feed was soaked. I black waxed the chair seat and put it on after adding a couple new wood plugs and oiling. The coffee table top was given another clear oil coat.

S went out late morning to weed eat then started mowing. Last night Amanda sent a boxer pup needing a home and I forwarded to K and Devon and Devon was interested. Today we found out it is a friends dog so I chatted with Coreena to find out more about him. They are going to see him Sunday. I painted the pulls a coat of white paint. I was putting the water on the back flower bed when S and I came in for lunch of chili and yes there is still a bowl to go :)

After his couch time the prince got back on the mower. I moved the flower bed water, things are drying up again with this lack of rain but sure less then if in the 30's had hit as forecast. The coffee table base was painted one of the new whites.

S jumped in the ranger and was off for a neighborhood drive. I hauled the old dresser drawers outside to sand the wood filler, pulled out the still grungy gross drawer bottoms and wash a second time then used scented salve to help eliminate the mildew moldy smell in them. I also did this in the black dresser I put on sale as it has an "old" smell I have always disliked.

Now to cook up some meat sauce and spaghetti for supper. It was yummy served with salad on the side and garlic toast. We watched the Olympics opening while eating. Britt and C arrived at usual time mixing food and meds. She went and gave them while I scooped poop and hand watered my garden. I harvested my first zucchini!

We put blankets on Switch and Bird as the bugs are out even though still blustery. The water was moved on the flower bed and S moved water on some trees and hooked up horse trailer for us. It is sooo dry with all this wind. I power sanded the drawer bottoms that were now dry while B worked with Roo. When I came in to catch up the blog Harley alerted me to check and see Cooper right near a coyote. I called Elmer Fudd in his underwear off the couch and her blasted out with the ranger to try and get a shot off with no luck so back to the couch and Olympics.

Britt was off for home at 8:30 and will be back in 12 hours for our trail ride with her coworkers. I finished up my computer work then off to get ready for bed and Netflix after 9.
