St Paddy's Day

St Paddy's day started sunny but the wind soon picked up and BLEW! It was around 0 but even with that and the sun it looks yucky out. I baked up the first batch of bran muffins to go with my morning cappuccinos and enjoyed a hot one while facetiming the Paetz kids at "school".

I worked on marketing and housework as well as touch ups on the end table. Still one day before sealing the top. I hauled out the table Britt had used at the last rental place and wiped it all up and set up to work on this week.

She and Cooper popped out around 2. She checked on, fed and gave pills to the horses and loaded up her art gear and such to take home. I am hoping to see some canvases painted soon. She visited for a bit and ranted about works only stay home/paid days off if you have a positive covid test. She is not feeling 100% but says many recently travelled as well as cold infested girls are all coming to work as they need the $$ vs unpaid sick days. I think I convinced her that if she feels uneasy up the environment and her health to use some of her sick days and wait it out for the rest of the week. We will see. It had clouded over after she got here and around 4 a snow storm blew in. As she left after 4 she called back saying stuck in the same spot that has now blown in again. I bundled up and went out and was able to push her back where she took a good run at it and made it thru. She did the same at the gate and was off to her condo.

My dentist office called to cancel my crown insert next week. AB dental association said all dentists to close as of today, movie theaters, the news had many other large restaurants closing today and all funerals and weddings over 50 ppl cancelled and so much more. Kaylin's sugar biz is shutting down after Saturday. On the up side, prince has been released from prison and will be home tonight.

The wind and snow let up thankfully as I was prepping the first of the Hello Fresh meals: Italian beef strips. The capers make it quite salty but it was good otherwise. I had finished by 7 for Shaina's online class but it was postponed as the other lady cancelled. I got working on tutorials and marketing the giveaway.

S arrived home at 9 and quickly hopped in the shower as first order of business. I made up his salad and a rum and coke joining him on the beverage. Then it was relax time in bed catching up on email and mail for him while I watched a few more The Circles. S had stopped to fill the merc with dyed fuel at UFA on the way home and it was 58.4 cents a liter!!!
