After 14 days I left the ranch for 2 hours

I awoke early again after 7 to find there was no sun and the ground was covered in snow. After perusing Instagram I got up and made a cappuccino that I enjoyed before heading out to toss the horses hay and head to the city after 9. Dr Andrew arranged to insert my crown at 10 am. The roads were crappy snow covered till Langdon then ok but the traffic was like normal. Where is everyone going? Once in the city it was the same but Chinook had only repair trucks and a few vehicles in the parking lot which looked odd of course. I made it to the dental clinic with 3 minutes to spare. I was in and out in just over 15 minutes.

check out the electronic signs

It is also odd not having a list of things to do in the city to make the trip “more worthwhile”. I did go thru a Tim’s drive thru to grab a tea. Crazy but they were out of the stuffed muffins. Passing thru Langdon again I tried their Tim’s again with no luck so I got a Boston cream. The roads were now back to snowy slushed covered and On the stretch just before the hwy 24 there was a crazy patch where the car caught snow and fish tailed and drifted crazily with my heart racing. I was only doing 100 kemp but dropped it down to turtle pace for the rest of the way to hwy 817 which was clear. I was back at the ranch in 2 hours. That is crazy timing.

I have not left the ranch in 14 days and now I am back for probably 14 more.

It started to lightly snow which occurred off and on for the rest of the day. I checked emails and had a bit of fun on Snapchat.

Britt and Cooper walked in just before noon as I was downloading an online scrabble game Kaylin wanted to play. B joined in too and for the next hour all 4 of us Kuhn girls were playing back and forth. B then went out to give pills to horses and check on them. She could not find the dogs and set off looking for them but like the times I hike for miles they are no where to be seen. She could see them way east but they kept running so after many calls and texts I bundled up, got the ranger out and went to find them. Good thing the ranger has jam as there are still lots of deep heavy snow banks. By the time I got to the canal thru opening gates and deep snow she called to say she was half way home across our pasture so back home I went.

She put Cooper in the car and went back to the horses. Bandit had an eye squint she removed a hair and cured then tossed them hay too before coming in to the hot cappuccino I made her. She was off for home at 3:30. Good news, Papa K's procedure went very well and he was back relaxing in the hotel room and was ready for supper shortly. XOXO Tomorrow they will head home back to isolation.

For supper I cooked up my first Hello Fresh meal : Middle Eastern spiced chicken and it was really good. Is was not until I was finished and cleaning up I saw I totally forgot to put on the fancy yogurt sauce! Dang. Looks like round 2 will have lots of sauce.

Then it was time for bootcamp with Shaina via Zoom. It was another doozy with core and booty the target. Once we finished up it was around 8 and getting dark as I tossed hay again to the horses and fed Lola. Back inside I finished the Tiger King while doing todays blog post. Now what shall I watch.

the gal on Instagram did this before and after of the recent table.
