Back to the city

The chinook continues, thru the night it hit 4 but when awake it was 1 but soon climbed back up. I showered and prepped to run to the city before the chair customer arrived. It indeed was too grey for her space so it is now officially for sale. We visited before she was off leaving me to partake in another online hour course at 10 with my first cappuccino.

I finished the puzzle while enjoying my second cappuccino then ran out to give pills to horses since at the shelter. Then it was time to head to the city after 11. I made a square heading to the mailbox to pick up the parcels then onto Costco on 17th. This took more time then I expected especially since we were just there last week but I managed to get another cartful.

On route to the dentist I was delayed by an accident but made it only 10 minutes late for my 1:30 appointment. An hour later I had my newest dental implant. I then set off stopping at 3 thrift stores being delayed by yet another car crash and a huge police presence at the Days Inn hotel (later on the news I found out it was due to a suspicious package there that turned out to be nothing).

The thrift stores were either overpriced for furniture or lacking but I did get 3 jewelry boxes. Next I ventured to hit the mall. It has been a very long time since I actually shopped a mall. I managed to find a few remaining gifts on my list as well as use my gift card for a Starbuck caramel brule treat and get my rings cleaned. I grabbed a quick burger for my days meal then hit the highway for home as people started to flock to the mall. The rush hour traffic was no fun but soon I was out of the city and back to the ranch by 6 pm.

The chinook ended mid day but was only down to -3 I think. It was definitely wrong timing for the car wash :)

Time to unload my groceries and goodies and chug a cold beer. Then it was marketing and accounting then blog writing while watching Living with Yourself. I finished the super short series.. hmmm. Then it was on to new Shameless episodes. A custom growth ruler was ordered and paid in full via my Kijiji ad, another project to get busy on tomorrow.
