Mineral springs day

This desert life has me up early here too. I perused the net while the prince caught up on his z'sss. Then it was our coffee and yogurt/fruit dish made by S. We sunscreened up and headed off to the mineral pool I got passes for  Desert Hot Springs spa. We stopped out host hotel for ice for cooler but turns out they don’t allow them at the hot springs. ;( It was like our Nordic spa sans snow with various temperature mineral pools. Everyone we talked to claim they are the best healing waters in USA.

Above S is trying to show how HUGE the palm trees are

And this shot captures the circa 1940s decor

Does this float look familiar? :)

I am sure people thought we were driving around naked ;)

We soaked till noon then ran to the apartment for a delicious lunch. Rotisserie chicken makes great meals as left overs. It  went well on the Asian salad with fresh guacamole and chips and a cold beer.

After we were all filled up we headed back for an afternoon of mineral healing IG meeting a few new friends even being invited to LA for an artist party in December. We finally got out all shriveled up at 4 and made our way back to shower and catch up on a few messages.

We showered and changed and headed back downtown to eat at South of the Border for supper. S had fajitas while I went with the chicken tortilla soup. The soup was huge and required a take out bowl as did S and his fajitas. Back at the condo we logged in to Netflix and watched The Laundromat.
