We loaded up and headed back to town after 12 for the long day ahead. Rodeo started out hot and crazy enough clouds rolled in and it rained exactly during intermission. Luckily I had the sit upon towel and my broken umbrella so we sat it out in our seats while most scrambled for cover.
hard t catch but it is raining while sunny
Kaylin and Kyle arrived for the second half and helped with running with the bulls too. Kyle captured this close up toss of the winner from their corner of the fence.
my seat's view
a friends photo from up in the grandstands
Krystalle (our photographer friend) got a media pass and joined us tonight from inside the center to capture some great photos.
this guy was the winner
The event went well and our work group smoothly put up and took down efficiently. We enjoyed the chucks to round out the night.
Kaylin and Kyle were off for the city as Kyle worked yet tonight then we headed to the ranch. Britt was here having spent the afternoon doing laundry and tending to the horses. She was all gussied up ready for the cabaret but wavered on going as I was not game to go. S would have but after sitting in big brown he was soon fast asleep. Candace arrived back just after 10:30 as Britt was heading off to the cab. She and I visited until almost 1 before we called it a night. Cooper was picked up from the end of our bed after 1:30 when B was back home calling the cab... lame :)
