Heritage Monday

Coffee and a short internet run for us both then S was dressed and off tot own for the last 10 am rodeo meeting. He then stayed in to wait for group photos before the musical ride/chucks at 1. I stayed home trying to get caught up on a few things. First was to head out and hand water garden and get sprinkler on back flower bed. It seems not being here for last 4 days has my 2 newly planted bee balm plants near dead ;( Hopefully they will come back with this water.

Inside I caught up on blog posts and marketing a bit, again it has been neglected for that last 4 days and looks like a couple more. A lady wanted a postage quote for the large tray to North Carolina but it came in pretty high so mot likely to happen. I am also trying to organize our trail ride tomorrow. I got ready for the day (aka out of my pj's) and took the horses supplements. Looks like some toes need smoothing before we load them tomorrow. I scrubbed two more blue bottles for my tree and got them on.. only 15 more or so to go.

S got back after 1 heading to hook up the little trailer with bales on it. I headed out and counted, we only needed to add 4 to get 45 total. We tied them down secure and were off to the rodeo stopping to deliver them to a house on the way, unstrapped and left the trailer for them to unload over next day or two. It is another hot one at 30 degrees out. We chose to sit on the west side of the rodeo arena today with my umbrella for bonus shade.

We arrived as the last few chucks were running so enjoyed a cold beer before the 3 pm championship Monday. The program went well and fairly fast . After it ended S jumped into the arena to take down the banners and with lots of help it was done in short order. We then headed to the south side to attend the volunteer evening. Before heading in we stopped to visit the RCMP ride horses quick.

The volunteer supper was really yummy with lots of food and drinks. We did head home with me safely getting us home just after 9 where Mom was relaxing after getting there about a half an hour before. We visited as Sheldon got a fire going. Mom joined him and they cooked hot dogs too. I crawled into bed to try and finish the movie The Spy who Dumped Me but fell asleep before doing so. They wrapped it up before 1 am.
