D's dog house finds a new home

I was wide awake at 7, think it is all the sunshine pouring in. That and I don't HAVE to get up then LOL I turned on the coffee and got to marketing posting tutorials and working on others and the blog. Once up, S perused the internet on the sunny deck in his gonch… because he can.

After much debate he finally decide to start cutting the hay at 10:30, I went to paint a second coat of white on the table base.

The couple headed home to take off their truck topper just before Britt pulled in at 1:30. S and I moved the dog house out on posts and had ready on the skid steer for their return then he was off to keep cutting hay.

I dark waxed the table base, whew it was hot in that garage with 28 outside.

After a lazy rest Britt went to give Roo exercise to find she had cut her back leg and it was swollen. This then became hosing which required my help which I had to leave and help load the dog house for a short bit. She added spray and cream and had me get wraps when a dust/wind storm kicked up around 4 forcing us inside. She let Roo go and ran to Sharon's to borrow some bute. After giving it her and supplements to the other 2, she had a nap. I cut fresh rhubarb and started making rhubarb strawberry jam.

poor girl still is suffering from her baby warts which keep spreading

The wind finally let up and the sun was back out. Sheldon finished up our hay field around 5:30 after stopping to help with the dog house. He grabbed a beer and was off to do a small field Matt offered us. He was back home in an hour just in time to catch the Calgary Stampede big day. I had supper ready soon after with B awaking after her 2 hour nap to join us to eat. She and Cooper were off for home at 8 as the rodeo wrapped up and chucks started. I made us a decaf cappuccino to catch the last of the stampede before calling it a day.

Sheldon submitted his swathing video footage

Happy 103rd cake day to Grandma Walker in heaven today!! XOXO
