Flowers and yardwork

Saturday already, with my coffee I finished up my tutorial for the yellow chair and got it posted to a few places. S relaxed in bed before getting on with the day. I gave Bird her gastro just at noon, only 12 hours since last :)

We made a quick trip to town after lunch. The free dresser I was offered turned out to be junk, rats. A few groceries were next then beer stock up and a stop at the flower shop to pick out some anniversary flowers. I picked my favorite peonies and sweet smelling freesia.

On the way out of town I saw the windshield repair due was in town so we stopped to fix a chip that happened yesterday on our road trip.

Britt and Cooper arrived soon after we were back at the ranch. She ran to town for groceries to make a Japanese salad for tomorrow as Sheldon and I went out to plant 2 new roses and edge the back flower bed. It looks soooo much better!

After we finished that S was off to weed eat the yard while I planted 6 new perennial plants in the front flower bed then water them all in along with the pots and garden.

Once back B worked with Roo a bit taking her for a walk and giving her probiotics. We then came in and she got her salad made up. Supper was the yummiest steel head trout, with a salad and buttered carrots. YUM!!

carrots cleaned up slick with my new scrubber from Debby, THANKS!!

B and I rode while S kindly changed B's oil after his big brown rest. We fed the horses, tacked them back up in their fly gear and put in pens.

 buddies out for a ride

borrowing roo's head gear, quite the look heh?

Time for a soak in the tub with all the achy muscles after such an active day.

I LOVE ranunculus too, they were my other choice at the flower shop

Today Dave set a track record and won the Shirley McClellan breeder stakes, Shirley only found out the next day the relationship to B but sent me this photo ;)

congrats Dave!!
