Busy sunny Sunday

I had coffee brewing at 8:30 after letting the dogs out. Deb joined me to visit and enjoy a cup before I made French toast for breakfast once Mary and Britt joined us. Cards were then enjoyed till 11 when Britt went to ride, Mary to read and Deb to shower up for the day. B also fed up the ponies before she headed back home at 12:30 to work at the track today.

Kaylin and Shaina had a sad say yesterday when Savannah was adopted to a couple in Brooks. They and Lexi sure got attached to her in the 4+ months she had lived with them. It is always hard when an animal goes. Shaina today is not feeling well with her sadness along with aches pains and sore throat.

We loaded up and set off for town stopping at KFC to get Deb's French fries and gravy fix. An omission in the food order, I grabbed a salad from DQ next door and ate it at the ball diamonds as we watched Asher play ball.

Then we were off to Wal-mart so the ladies could pick up their Canadian snacks to take home and a quick stop at Peavy Mart. Back to the ranch to repack Deb's car ready for the journey home.

Kaylin, Shaina and Lexi arrived around 5:30, visiting cards and supper were enjoyed. (Shaina slept for most of the evening poor girl) This continued when the Paetz tribe arrived around 6:45 and heading home around 8:30. Kaylin, Lexi and Shaina were off before 9:30 after Shaina joined in to play some cards.

Mary read while Deb and I visited then we played a few more hands of cards before heading to bed before there big journey home.
