Spa day

We had our usual coffee in bed but Shaina stayed snuggled in hers to the very last minute before she grabbed a coffee and was prepping to head off to train Sharon at 10:30. We had our swimsuits packed and out the door just ahead of her on our spa adventure day.

We routed thru town to fill with fuel and grab an iced coffee for the road. We made another stop closer to the spa at another Tim's this time for a hot chai and quick bite to eat. We arrived at Kananaskis Nordic Spa got our plaid housecoat and rubber slippers and were in the facility by 1 pm.

Circling the hydrotherapy order for the next hour and a half in the on and off sunshine was lovely. It was only 13 so everything felt great. We headed up to our couple massage booked at 3. The massages were fantastic. S had relaxing and I chose therapeutic. Lloyd did a great job loosening the tight trap and lower back muscles I had. We went back out after to enjoy a few more stops including the exfoliation hut.. it and the steam room I really enjoyed with the wet heat along with the hot tub and fire cauldrons. Only advice, take your refillable water bottle.

We showered up and started back towards home by 5 enjoying a cold beverage S had packed. We stopped to resupply at Costco passing thru Calgary. We tried to get a table at Montana's but the crowds had S flustered so we headed home swinging thru Strathmore and hitting OJ's for a late supper. It was really good. We were back at the ranch by 9:30 unloaded the groceries and bringing in Lola. What a lovely relaxing day!
