Earth Day

I guess I slept ok seeing I was wide awake at 7. I quietly perused Instagram then checked the computer. Finally I rousted Sheldon by 9, he made coffee and Papa soon joined us. Grama was along in a bit to join in on her fruit salad and toast to go with the coffee. We visited and took a wee tour out in the lovely sunshine. I got the horses watered before turning it on the front flower bed. Sheldon does NOT head north today as usual but rather has 2 more days off.

After they were headed home around 11 we put the soaker hose on the back bed giving it its first big drink of the year. Leftovers for lunch then S hit the big brown for his nap. I arranged for the dresser viewing after our horse appointment then went out to brush miss Lola. She will be coming along to the horse chiro appointment too. I caught the 3 horses going along today; Pepper, Daisy and KD who was out again. I had to roust S to hold a couple while I loaded them up. Once loaded including Lola in the tack area we were off.

We arrived right at our 2:30 appointment and was back on the road just after 3 with all adjusted. Pepper only needed a tweak which was good. Lola was not to sure about hers but hope it worked. She was out on her front end.

welcome home crew

We made a quick stop in town for S to look for water parts but no luck so back to the ranch it was. I gave the two supplements and they were all off to eat. S took the metal detector and trash /cardboard (only to find it was Monday and they were closed) and headed back to town as my dresser customer arrived.  The courier was at the gate and sent a parcel with her too. She loved the dresser, wrote a check for it and took the antique chair along home too. She will be back with a truck for the dresser soon. Yeah, that was a good birthday present too.

A bit of spreadsheet and sale site updating was now in order. Then it was on to meal #2 from this weeks Hello Fresh box. S was back home after 6 just in time for this good meal; open faced steak sandwiches.

S was off to hockey room while I had a soak in the tub. Shaina arrived around 9:30 after her training to settle in for her work days.
