I worked on marketing with my coffee as I was out of paint but finally the courier arrived at 11. Of course he was not native to Canada and I saw he drove off the road with the snow covering but eventually made it to the house. He was then petrified of Lola (granted she keeps many ion their cars and is good at her job) so I had to run out and grab the parcel.
YEAH!! now I can paint. I spent the next two hours finishing off the crib in navy!! At 2 I came in for a late lunch and beverage. At 3 I headed back out and got busy on the round tray. It was distressed and dark waxed and the hardware put back on but came to a stand still when deciding on a stencil.
The snow picked up its pace coming down and very chilly at -16! Onto painting the vanity, mirror frame and stool a 3rd coat of white paint now that it arrived today too. It is now pretty close to done as well. Garage laundry was underway all day washing dirty work jackets and coveralls, perfect to have the dryer on today.
While hauling in the mirror to assemble and stool to dry inside I had 2 people inquire about the jewelry box posted with the stool on last night's Instagram post. It was sold in short order and will be picked up tomorrow at supper. Now what shall I post ;)
Well I posted the white on white dresser and sure enough had a message of a gal interested but she lives in Sundre and I am too far for her to drive ;(
I started the Netflix series Lucifer last night while I was marketing so watched a couple more while I put the mirror in the frame. Then it was back to Riverdale after finally getting to bed.
Did you know mirrors are stamped for furniture date of manufacture?, this vanity is 1958!!
