Do you know how hard it is to catch a wave on a sunny day with a timer?
better try manual
All one needs is an iPad, a cold beer and this view
Seeing the waves were still high we ventured to the salt water pool and tide pool.
right after snapping this I was doused with a wave lol
Swimming and napping for S, I tried but they started trimming trees, vacuuming our entry way etc so that ended that plan lol so I toured the grounds for flower pics
not sure why footwear was needed but this is the extent of his swimming
lots of hibiscus colors
this one is a mystery
bird of paradise (L) and ginger (R)
Needing to take the Jeep for a rip, we loaded up and headed down to see the big banyan tree. This led us to walking the “strip” before realizing it was time to watch the sunset.
open top view
look at the size of this tree!! see me way below?
the prince and his tree
Look at the heart shrub outside Mokuaikaua Church
I love the stone walls of the church and courtyard and look as those windows, they are so big they just turn to open. The church was built with not one nail!!
Time was running out so we aimed to try and get to a beach quick. North seemed best option and low and behold we arrived at the Old Kona airstrip. Sunset was amazing as usual.
There is a pretty garden I quickly snapped a picture of jasmine before we headed back to the condo.
Even though it was after 6 when we got back, the skies were still pretty here.
