Kaylin's Special Day

Happy birthday to my beautiful eldest daughter. May your day be amazing and your year even better. Enjoy your BC adventure and Beyoncé tonight, there is snow when you get home, and lots of it.

It was snowing when we awoke and continued thru the morning but left up after lunch. Our morning was coffee and catchup but I did make a scalloped potato dish at lunch time to go with supper while S grilled up some cheese sandwiches.

he checked out the panel install for the solar panels 

 and rolled out a bale, perfect for KD to roll then nap ;), he also locked them in the winter pasture much to their displeasure.

He then ventured out to shovel the deck and roll out a bale for the horses. I was working on my painted projects in the garage distressing the purple jewel box and dark waxing it as well as giving the etched glass top a mercury glass finish. I did run out and give Hawk his meds and put in Bird's eye ointment. His results came back and his new cortisol (ACTH) levels are at 79 down from 139 so does show improvement and we will increase his dosage to 2 pills/day now.

Back in the garage it was another coat of red on the one tray and I cut an edge off the door using the big table saw! Then inside to stage some pics of the purple jewel box and black valet and get some tags cut and hung on projects. Prince was back in and in brig brown for his traditional Tuesday rest and snore fest. I even had to wake him to join me for supper.

Thinking he had a rodeo meeting we had eaten early and as he was heading out the door he read a text saying due to all the snow it was cancelled. Well seeing the truck was warmed and I had an order of turkey meat pies to pick up he headed in any way to get them, the mail and some beer.

I worked on the red tray adding black wax and distressing. He was back home in just over an hour kicking back to relax for his lazy Tuesday. I searched for rental places in Hawaii, I no longer enjoy searching for places, would rather a travel agent to do all the work :) While waiting for Lola to come in I dark waxed the red tray and cleaned brushes.
