B the baker

My coffee hiatus did not last long but who can pass up a hot creamy beverage served in bed? Only 1 cup today and underway. It is rummage sale day, B's car to tire shop, and eye dr day. B arrived after 9 supposedly on her way to a hoof dissection clinic but Dave who was going with her was running behind time. After scratching her horses and giving them apples Shaina brought, (I gave Hawk his meds) we were all off to town.

Sheldon dropped me and more bags to donate at the church while Britt went to get Subway then decided they would not go to the clinic. She met me at the rummage sale and loaded up on a few treasures. I found a few as well. Dave joined her there and just after 11 we took her car to the tire shop where Sheldon met us. B jumped in with Dave and off shopping they went while Sheldon and I stopped to pick up side tables before going to our eye doctor appointment.

It seems we both did not have much change but I found out I was there 19 months ago so no company benefit coverage :( We both browsed for glasses but left around 1 stopping for a quick bowl of soup/sandwich nearby and grabbing a pumpkin tea for the ride home.

Britt and Dave were napping when we got back but after a bit B whipped up an angel food cake. S napped serenading us while we visited. It was a treat once cooked and cooled as she made whipped cream and strawberry compote to go with it.

size of B & D servings X 2 each  LOL

The horse trailer was backed up and I got most of my tubs loaded with S helping me load the 3 heavier pieces. Britt, Cooper and Dave loaded up after 4 and headed home grabbing her car as they went. I vacuumed the floor then worked on blogs putting the blue tray live while S once again "rested" in big brown.

While I was working on marketing and getting prepped for my market, Prince did make supper. It was calamari, sweet potato fries and creamed corn and was most appreciated. He caught the hockey game while I did marketing and perusing of new ideas. We did watch the 3rd episode of Equus.
