Deb heads for home - lots of pics

Another relaxing morning of coffee, raisin toast and visiting. We finished the puzzle then tried another photo shoot seeing it was another beauty day.

Shaina popped out after 12 for a quick hour visit before she was off to work a tournament at the golf course. Britt even got up to join in on the food feast.

Going home to be a part of the Schmitt home is the cream French provincial coffee table ;) We got it loaded with all the rest of her bags and goodies.

I suggested a ride at 2 and by the time we got tacked up and back out it was clouding over with a rumble of thunder in the distance. A loud crack of thunder then it started to spit sent us back to ride in the pen then headed inside the barn. Just in time as a dump of rain unleashed 2/10ths in short order. We stayed in and fed them their food and once it passed, let them all out.

look at the weather as we caught the horses

but it changed to this as we came out

Time for a cold beer on the deck as the sun made its way back out.

The Belmont was set to go at 4:30 so inside we went to watch while Deb started her journey home. She needed to stop in town for a few more treats then get Mary at the airport and off to meet a few friends before making her way home. Thanks for the laughs, the visit and making the annual trip up to see us.

The weather continued to go from sunny 26 to cloudy and threatening but no more rain came. Britt napped while I caught up on marketing and blogging. I updated my profile picture with a fresh new one thanks to my in house photographer Deb XOXO.

B got up around 8, perhaps getting too much sleep now she says. Eventually she got ready to head out for the night trying to decide what to do. Shaina stopped out after her day on the links after 10. She filled up on sausage, loaded up the bean dip and was off for home before 11. Britt was off close behind to spend the night in the city too. I curled up with Call the Midwife.
