planters and potatos

I woke up to 2 sales after posting a few ready to go items last night on my Facebook page. That is fabulous. One even sent her $ right away, the other is a great customer still coming for her stools.

It was another overcast drizzly looking day (9) that had Lola black from the belly down. I tossed a bale for the ponies and when I went to the loft for the bale the bob tailed feral cat jumped down and hid in the farm equipment. GRRRR so I packed up the food dish and tub and hauled to the house to feed them there. This guy needs to move on.

hard to tell but she is black from top of legs down

In the garage I moved furniture to get ready for Sunday's private paint class. The stool had another section glued and clamped and I spray painted the spice rack and sanded it.

I hauled in the finished upcyle chalkboard holder and board and did a quick artwork on it to get some pics

The sun started to poke thru around 2:30, I had stuff loaded and was off to town before 3. I filled the truck for the prince, grabbed a tea and hit Walmart to get some groceries, gifts and garden supplies. I dropped stuff at the take it or leave it, had a quick peek thru Can Tire garden center then stopped to visit at Amanda's quick. I delivered some Mother's day planters as well as a few other things of Moms in the garage.

On route home I was just lucky to toss the trash as technically they were closed now that it was 5:10 but they were waiting for a big truck to leave so let me pitch it in then grabbed the mail and home to unload.

I cut my seed potatoes in half to double production and left overnight to seal the cuts

I had posted a headboard for free and a lady wanted it so I balanced it on the quad in the now 16 degree sunshine and took it to the gate for her. B was home after 7 but changed and half an hour later was off to town to meet a friend for supper. She was back by 10:30 having to work tomorrow. I started to try and get Lola in at 11 and spent most of my time outside. I checked the horse shed mineral/salt, found my garden boxes with the planted garlic dug up and looked for the bad cat, chased her across the field and eventually got her in a midnight. Then I finished season 6 of Call the Midwife.
