more feet trims and tree/grass trims

The sun was out after the rain but did not end up super hot which is great. S made coffee before he was off to town for an 11 am acupuncture appointment. Seeing it was a cooler day, I started seasoning the cast iron pan then climbed the ladder to replace the suitcases I hauled down and cleaned the whole area with a vacuum/rag. Then it was time to head out dose Switch, replace her foot meds/duct tape boot, toss some hay and measuring her for a fly sheet.

Sheldon was back home with Vietnamese for lunch, yum. He rested with a hot bean bag after, I went out to start watering my flower beds and measure Bird and Roo for blankets too. Seeing the ground was still damp I saw a great opportunity to trim some feet. I caught KD & Pepper and go them trimmed up. S checked some things off the honey do list including resetting the bottle tree timer, replace a gasket on a water timer and checked the solar charger to find it pooched.

Once the trims were finished, prince and I go to work on the yard. High of 15 was perfect. I used a pitchfork to left tree branches while S weed eated under them. Hand pulling old dried grass finished the tidy look. He then mowed the lawn while I trimmed trees, pulled weeds and dosed perennials and planters with fertilizer, whew the yard looks awesome.

Time for a cold beer and pepperoni! I did a 3rd seasoning treatment on the cast iron pan as we ate left over supper and S watched the game. Time for a hot soak for me. B ran to the big tack store Irvine's after work and out for supper date and made it home around 11:30.
