trip to town

Prince delivered a hot coffee in bed, I am down to one cup as not enjoying it as much any more but thank you. For his recovery Tuesday he was up early. We headed to town to run a few errands including dropping my parcel in the mail, picking up the green antique dresser left at the local store before we went out before a quick lunch at the golf course.

Back at the ranch we unloaded the dresser in the entry way where I worked on repairs (gluing new drawer stoppers in and putting hardware back on that jiggled loose and staging a few new photos. S read the mail then had his big nap in the big comfy brown recliner.

I went out to work on projects. I made milk paint in a fun green color and while it sat the allotted time I took the antique table out and sanded it outside. It was bright and sunny but -8 was brisk. Back in my warm garage I painted the table and the one side of the window frame.

I made a new blue milk paint and put it on the other side of the window and seeing I had lots left painted one of the frames I washed up along with the 2 treasure boxes I had started. I also painted the maple door scrubbed up too I plan to make into a tray and added the blue over the green on the table too. (pics tomorrow)

S awoke from his nap and went out to play pushing snow, back in for another rest then rolled a bale out for the horses.

Hot soup supper and hockey for S while I was back at work on the paint projects. I started the chocolate wash on the coffee table but of course it dried quick and my OCD tendencies had me wiping an area that turned in to a redo that did not work so ended up repainting it ;(

I moved on to sanding the milk paint projects before heading to bed to watch Netflix.

The coyote were pestering Lola all day and the evening was no better. She refused to come in at usual time and even after I finished the Zumbos Just Desserts and S was snoring still no go. Finally at 1:30 I got her in but unfortunately could not fall asleep now till around 3:30 (snoring did not help)
