pink dresser do over

S was off early, around 4:30 to catch his flight up north, this is a short week with a new schedule for the next couple months. He will be home Thursday. I was up at 8 ready to get busy. The hutch got sanded and put on hold as to next steps till well dried.

I finished the blue frame adding copper and dark wax and snapping a few pics.

The door turned tray was dry brushed then clear coated a few times.

The pink dresser was dropped off to have repairs done. It seems that this look is not working well for a 6 year olds room. The damage does seem to be child induced but with my rep on the line I offered to repair it. I sanded the dinged areas and touched up the paint and once dry I repainted the entire dresser in a fresh coat of pink.

The blue frame was dry brushed and dark waxed and then it was time to insert a center. I went with mesh for a different look. It is magnetic so I think works for a fun photo board. The mesh fitting and stapling was quite a process though to get it all neatly in, secured and bent to avoid any sharp edges.

B and the dogs arrived as I was finishing that up around 1:30. The plus 5 melting weather is not great for clean dogs ;( B was off to town after 3 for a tan and dentist appointment. She picked us up supper on her way home as well as my parcel at the gate!

I scrubbed up a cute frame and painted it white and grey while watching Ellen as a birthday gift for my Goddaughter, Olivia.

Britt and the dogs were headed back to the city at 7:30. I worked on the coffee table blog post and at 8:30 it started to rain for a bit. The coyotes started carrying on like crazy making poor Lola quite upset. As I worked on the blog posts and marketing I started a new series on Netflix called Troy: Fall of a City. I watched 3 episodes, it is good.
