For the last 4 days I have been concentrating on marketing; signing up for an actual market in May, posting pieces for sale, writing up sales posts and keeping my social media updated. I did lose my brand ambassador contract with Dixie Belle mainly due to using Cece Caldwell paint on the corner cabinet but in life goes on. I did get another 2 features on Hometalk; one the round coffee table and the other the plaster pieces which have loads of comments I reply to again eating up time. In just a day it has reached 30,000 views.
Sheldon has been trying to catch up on his missing naps while away at work last week. He did head out today after lunch to install a new air filter in the truck before we set off to the city. We enjoyed the sunny drive to the city with +5 temps. Our first stop to return the skid steer parts (remember the pricey parts we bought, the blade company actually sent the proper ones and they are paying for the welding repairs that were needed already) so it all turned out.

Next we did a Costco run loading up on lots of goodies. We did this quicker then we though being almost 2 hours ahead of time to meet the girls in Chestemere to look at a new rental place. We drove around and found 2 B had lined up to see as well as another she scoped out before stopping for a refreshment at a local establishment. It was busy being Friday at super time. On the way to the truck I found not a penny but a lucky quarter! What a good omen.

We met the girls at the house and had a good look. S and I autocratically took the 2nd place out of the running so after seeing the 1 did a round table review at Tims after. By 8 we all headed off home with us routing thru Strathmore to grab library books Amanda had picked up for us. I had set an auto post at 6 for my antique dresser and on the way home I had a message from a gal who wants to buy it. Thank you lucky quarter. After chatting back and forth by the time we got home and unloaded she had confirmed full payment in the am and pick up in 2 weeks coming from Edmonton.
And first thing in the am she did. I was awake before 6 am.. on a Saturday.. go figure. Today is back to overcast and hovering around +2. I did more marketing and such for most of the day. I also got the RMPC book caught up and some paperwork organized. B and Cooper arrived for their Saturday/Sunday sleepover just after 12 finishing up another successful puppy class. After a chat about properties she was sound asleep on the couch with her dog (who was tuckered after his long play with Lola) and S was in the TV room watching hockey. This was when the snow started to fall and did till supper. I finally did the Vegas blog post. When B woke she noticed Pepper acting odd so headed out to check him and the others while out there. I had supper made and we all ate once she got back in. All is good, thanks Dr B!
