Another beauty chinook day

Sunday was another beauty sunny chinook day. Awake at 8 Lexi and I moved to the computer room to get marketing and email answering. The one gal is planning to come Monday and wants to see a few things ;) I painted my display shelf again and left to dry well.

Britt was up pretty early for a Sunday grabbing a coffee and heading back to her internet surfing. She did head out and let the "dark" horses out to mix as a herd. The fatties were just excited to get to their leftover hay while the dark girls ran and kicked up their heels in the bigger paddocks.

B had found a leather halter online and arranged to pick it up at a market in Lyalta. She wanted Lexi and I to come along so off we went in the lovely sunshine. Making a route thru town to get her $ we whipped thru McDonalds to try the creme brule'. Whipped was not the proper term as they only had 1 and sent us to the parking lot to wait for the other.. 15 minutes still nothing so B went and stood in line. Guess what, they had forgot to even make one or send it out. They gave her a gingerbread brownie as compensation but it tasted horrid, do not buy. GRRR no more micky D's for me.

The halter turned out far better then she expected so was very pleased with her find. Now back home we went.

I quickly put another coat on the jewelry box as well as paint the bottom of a faux planter while Britt went to catch Hawk and Roo. It was so nice at plus 3 and with the melting snow feet were perfect for trimming. B headed in but seeing it was so nice I shoveled the sidewalks and put away the last of the summer decorations & chair before Prince is back. He may have shattered one of my angels while shoveling last week :(

Back inside I lime waxed the planter and did more marketing. I actually had 3 more interested people, one planning to come tomorrow to purchase the bench and look at the nightstand in town.

Britt was off to the city to a movie with friends at 6 and home before 10, quick trip. I enjoyed more Grey's while marketing calling it quits by 8 tonight. Time to soak and get cozy in my comfy bed. I even started a new Netflix series, remake "Dynasty"
