town trip

Today I heard Britt get ready for work quite well ;/ I did get up to make Kaylin coffee at 8:30 and she was off by 9. I got to work on the dresser sanding the top again and painting it two coats of grey with another coat of white in between. The morning was overcast and threatening, just before noon there was actual thunder and a few specks of rain.

Shaina was awake at noon but not up and at it so I headed to town around 12:30 to pick up dog food, some groceries, liquor, drop of the home plate with Paetz's to take to Oyen, pick up my $25 gift certificate win from Real Deals I won for Canada Day contest, grab my lunch at DQ and the mail on the way home.

Back at the ranch Shaina was ready to ride. We went out and caught KD and Switch and had a nice ride, even if it was 29 and windy. Crazy I did not take my cell phone but today we saw a coyote within about 50 feet and loads of rabbits, guess we know why he was in that area. Lucky Lola was busy in the hay field scenting paths and did not come along. Hosed and fed we came in for a cold one while Shaina ate supper before she jetted off to the city at 4:30 to do yoga and meet Kaylin after work.

I got busy cleaning out the fridge, it seems we either have no fruit and veggies or way tooooo many. The whole thing was emptied, scrubbed and reassembled, now to eat it all soon.

Britt was home from work late stopping to pick up a case for her new phone she picks up tomorrow. She fell asleep on the couch almost instantly ;) I walked the dogs to the gate to trade Jordana the pile of dill for 2 dozen fresh farm eggs. Great trade right?

Back at the house I finished the black dresser blog post and got it loaded onto Facebook pages and a few linked parties. Before going to bed of course I had to fiddle with the dresser sanding top, I was going to start poly but did some touching up which led to adding a 3rd full top grey coat again.
