I hand painted the ruler while Sheldon cut the wood for the custom home plate and assembled it.
Kaylin joined us after noon. She and I enjoyed a yummy tuna croissant and fresh fruit on the deck in the lovely 30 sunshine. Shaina pulled in just before 3. S drove tractor to town as she ate and we packed a few things up. We drove to town to pick him up, drop off the trash and oil, scored a press back chair and headed to the river.
dogs loved the cool water and what do you know, Lexi can swim ;)
After a relaxing beverage and wee hike we ventured back home to put the roast in and get supper on the go. Grama & Papa arrived to long after with jumbo bunch of roses. Kaylin and Shaina cleaned their vehicles. A gal I did a few videos earlier in the day for the grey table sent half deposit to hold it and crazy another person messaged to buy it soon after. Murphy's law. Either way it is sold so I am happy to move one more piece.
Britt was home after 7, the sirloin tip roast I cooked for our supper sure did not turn out well and I did manage to burn the cabbage while outside chatting to Grama and the girls but the mashed potatoes, salads and peas were good ;)
After supper Shaina rode bareback as did Britt for a bit then tacked up and ponied KD for Shaina as Kate joined us for a campfire.
seems so ;)
riding with her mini boom box and surfing the net
