Rain came down.. in buckets

RAIN came down starting before 6. Coco was as per usual beside herself about it and even with her scarf and snuggles and soaking my bed with drool and me traipsing thru the down pour to retrieve her on what was to be a pee break I finally had to put her in a kennel and cover it and fell back asleep for a bit around 8:30 for a bit. How these storms stress her is crazy. Lexi was perfectly happy to sleep snuggled up through it all.

Sheldon got the coffee rolling with him heading off  later to check out some trees, grab a rolling rack for me and a tea. I got a brunch cooked up for my beauties rousting them to eat after 11:30. Sheldon caught the last of it when he returned. Shaina was off to the city after she was done, Britt was back to studying for her big test next week and Kaylin and I headed to the city. Sheldon changed oil on the merc. Once the rain let up mid afternoon there was 2 1/4"!!

Kaylin and I got home just before 5 with our Costco load. She helped unload and was headed back to the city before 6 to spend the night with Shaina. B took a break to feed her horses then was back to studying. Sheldon and I took the 3 dogs for a walk after supper. They love their walks.

Back at the house we checked the water tanks to find one not full so out came the ladder. Sure enough the bird nest Sheld pulled out of the soffit had made its way to the evestrough so got it cleaned out, flushed with water and back in perfect order. I weeded too.. if only our grass grew like weeds.

Back inside miss Lexi got a bath and it was relaxing time catching an episode of Fearless then watching the stampede rodeo on TV while B kept on studying only breaking to pack her lunch for work tomorrow.
