Hot and in limbo

We were home late but Britt had called with poor KD getting kicked yet again last night. This time over her have food and fat Daisy demanding she share. I headed out to hose her, give bute and spray the wounds later in the morning. Sheldon started his tree watering brigade as the day is going to be another hot one ringing in at 29. I watered my garden and flowers too.

After lunch we rant to town to pick up the tractor that now has the A/C repaired. We made a loop to Tim's for an ice cap to cool down and a look thru Can Tire for plants but no real desire to try and plant in this heat so grabbed a sub for the tractor drive home. I dropped him off, picked up the mail and not long after got a call to hold up as he was inquiring about a new piece of glass put in the tractor door. The store said they could easily put in the old one he had trouble fitting so I drove back, picked him up and we headed home to retrieve it and the seal and headed back.

However the window place weren't sure when they could fit it in so we left it and we off again. I had a parcel card so picked up my HUGE stencil sent from UK complimentary and a new sprayer for the arena and headed home yet again. I felt completely drained so laid down for a bit which even though I did not really sleep I had a bit of a perk up before we headed back to town yet one more time. Sheldon took a quick run to pull dam fox tail in the hay field. The window was done and with a huge glass of water he made the drive home again in it while I got back home in time to work on a bit of the belated blog.

Once Britt was home from work Sheldon kindly went out and changed her oil while she had cooked up a wee bite to eat. After we all including the 3 dogs headed out for a nice walk in the beautiful sunshine. I had been chatting with the other two thru the day as they made their way to BC. Kaylin to Penticton where she said it was beautiful and Shaina as far as Kelowna. Enjoy your time celebrating Mikey's life out there girls, we LOVE you!!
