tree watering Monday

Another great looking day on the way weather wise. Sheldon helped me haul in the dresser and coffee table in to stage. That was my morning getting pictures taken and posts for sale made up. He caught up on work and internet news as well as a few gopher runs.

Britt was slow to roust, once finally up she was flogged to sort thru treasures Grama brought her for her new place in the fall. She got sorted and hauled the keepers to the storage trailer, good job B and thanks Grama. Then she was back to her room for her day off but did do her laundry ;) That and staging always requires cleaning so by lunch I had a tidy main area again!

After lunch it was time to head outside; Sheldon got started on his tree watering while I did the garden and flower beds. He ran my full poop wheel barrows to the pit, thank you!! Weeding is a never ending process, why cant my garden and flowers grow as well as the weeds?? He then made his way to the airport just after 3.

Lola barreled off the deck, I looked and sure enough 2 coyotes were sauntering along the draw just east of the house. She put the run on them but spent the rest of the afternoon and evening on high alert. Bet the buggers are sitting in the long hay just being PITA's (pain in the ass) to her ;)

I continued moving the water around the trees as per the boss man's instructions working on the dresser blog post in between. Around 5:30 a customer arrived with a dining set for reloving. Once we got it unloaded it was time to come up with a paint plan. It is a neat farmhouse style table but the chairs look like they might be a challenge.

I continued moving the water from 3 sources to trees as well as puncturing aeration holes in almost all of them as per Mama Two Feathers suggestion. I also did my roses and shrubs too. I gave one of the dining chairs a sand outside to see the plan then shut off water and came in at 8. Britt miraculously was cured and headed to town soon after to OJ's. Shaina arrived around 10:30 to stay the night as I was working on the computer.
