rain arrives in force

I made fresh coffee for Britt as she was getting ready for work at the tanning salon. She was off before 10 for her 10-3 shift. Seeing there is no paint class today, The sideboard received another coat of hemp oil hand rubbed in while the antique chair was given a coat of espresso wax.

The sun was in and out all morning. I ventured out to fertilize my flower beds, pull more dandelions and feed to the ponies then hauled the table out again to sand yet again this time with the new sander. Not sure about this one as it was acting weird and not yet 24 hours old. The rain gauge says 1/10, the grass sure looks better today even with that.

Back in the house I got busy putting a coat of the cappuccino oil on the sideboard. I also started to sort items stored in the sideboard. This led to scrubbing somethings up to spray paint and put in the booth as well as stuff to add to a new rummage sale box. The minimalist videos resonate.. may it be useful or loved.. or gone ;)

Once home from work and running a few errands, I had Britt help move her desk down to her room. Then she and I went out to ride. It was windy and Switch had other ideas about being caught but after a self exercised catch we headed inside. B and I rode in our need to be watered down arena bareback for a bit. Time for Switch to get her mane roached and their snacks before the release.

B left for town at 8 and about 45 minutes later the rain started and from about 10-12 it came down hard. Time for a hot soak and Netflix after my blog updates and computer work.
