81 posts pounded

Another beauty day was in the works weather and work wise. It was so sunny even when Britt was heading off to work. I was awake at 7 and Sheldon not long after, time for a coffee and quick internet cruise before getting dressed. We were outside just after 8.. what! I set up water on the new flower bed on west side of the house as well as front, repaired my pea fence while Sheldon sprayed out some measurements for the fence line. Once her had a tentative layout we discussed the plan, adapted it a bit and got started pounding.

The entire day was dedicated to pounding in 81 posts to create the fence line, a horse paddock over the septic area, repair a cracked post in current paddock as well as put in some replacements along the west side of the property line. We only took a quick lunch break for a tuna sandwich and only 2 beers in the 25 degree sunshine. There was however lots of water, ice tea and a fudgesicle :)

Britt was lounging in the sun on the deck with her birthday booster juice after her long day at work as we were pulling in from finishing the west fence line around 7. She started to cook noodles while we completed the last post and tidied up. After supper Sheldon took the pounder back, Britt and I took the quad to have her ride pepper back but they decided to run back to the paddock, easy peasy!

When Sheldon got back from dropping off we had a piece of strawberry cheesecake to celebrate another successful day.
