stripping on a Friday ;)

With a coffee in hand I put another coat of stain/finish on the coat rack. The cold has us both still suffering, I had to roust Sheldon around 10:30 to see if he was still alive. Eventually he got motivated to head out and pitch hay just as the rain started. It was not allot but always welcome. Off to the sop to check his trap line and start moving equipment out for spring. I spent the rest of the morning stripping and sanding the coffee table top and get it set up to relove.

B home after 2 as we were finishing up leftover lunch. Off to get ready to head to Lethbridge for the night. She brought chicken bones which I threw on for soup for supper.

I went back out to condition my table top and stain it walnut, put the coat of cream on the mirror and the wee carved box. Sheldon went out to move the rest of the bales inside the shop and do some organizing.

The sun popped out around 4 turning the day into a beauty. Britt was off around 5 with Amber and Jayce. My glass votives got soaked and scrubbed up for a new spry paint project. Time to hemp all the milk paint on mirror and wood box before finishing my soup. Prince harrowed the driveway ditches before coming in for soup.

What a gorgeous evening it turned out to be. Sheldon moved a pallet back in the shop and found the horseshoes, back inside it was google searching for how to weld into the cross. I secured the heart quilt rack and scrubbed it up. Hot soak in the tub and then we started season 2 of The Last Kingdom. It sure it allot slower then Vikings or Game of Thrones.
