Good Friday

Good Friday started out overcast and so very windy. After doing some marketing I got started again on Britt's desk hoping the wind would ease up and my wet hair would dry. Finally at 11:30 I braved it and headed out to pitch hay. They had to eat fast as it blew south quickly. The inside greens got distressed and buffed but it was too much according to the birthday girl so another coat went on, minimally distressed and the hardware put back on.

The base had first coat on before lunch and the inside so was dry after lunch for the 2nd coat finishing up almost 6 hours later. Sadly I had the last turkey sandwich for lunch and B and I had last of the soup last night,

Finally the sun was out about 3 and the wind died a bit making it doable to ride today. Marissa delivered eggs,thank you just before Shaina arrived to ride after 4 with Lexi.  The 3 of us or should I say 6 of us had a good ride even maneuvering thru the gates to ride thru the winery. I brief rain hit while we rode but did not last long at all. The high hit 11 even.

This is Switch's first bareback ride, she was cautious but soon was no big deal

Once untacked and ponies let go we all headed in for a cold drink while I cooked supper as it was now 6. Shaina was off at 7 to meet Jenna and eventually get packed as she leaves for Bali Sunday. We wont see her now for a month, have fun little miss. Kaylin text her days are long but she is having fun in Edmonton setting up the new Sephora store. She was upgraded to a fancy suite too. Lexi is now staying with us till next Saturday when Kaylin wraps up her set up.

Not long after Shaina left, Jayden arrived to ride with Britt. This time B too fat miss Daisy and Pepper was Jayden's trusty steed. They played polocrosse after their ride in the evening sun too before shooting off to the city at 9 for a movie. B pitched hay on her way out, good job.

I kicked back in a hot tub with Netflix and some of my favorite ice cream. Curled up in bed after watching Switched still I heard a splash. Of course Lexi always loves to jump in tubs as her weird fetish but this time I think she was quite surprised to find it full of warm water. She acted it cool slurping up a long drink after her recent race around the house pestering Coco.
