another windy warm day

Another warm day in the works, along with the warm comes the wind like it has for the last 2 days but today seems a bit blustrier! (I know Amanda that is not a real word;) I think the wind woke me at 6 but I did drift until 8 and that was it. Time to get back to making and marketing. There was some interest in my recent posts last night, will see if they pan out.

Time to scrub up the 2 pine end tables and night stand now that they are sanded. I did find more carvings in the nightstand side that will need power sanding once dry ;/

 Back inside I worked on staging the rose gold items, then creating an anniversary giveaway photo and post. Be sure to go enter, everyone can!

a new hole for a knob needed to be drilled but it seems my drill has terrible batteries so that was all I got, a dent. time to charge the other battery and toss this one

I LOVE solid wood of any kind, it makes me happy

 B was home after 1 and promptly headed off for a nap with Coco. I started painting the pine nightstand choosing a pretty new coral.

Kaylin text with good news, she got her promotion. She is now operations specialist, congrats lovey!

The chippy table had a buyer but when I went to apply another coat of wax I found it flaking off still. This is not going to work so amended the sale. I did score an antique vanity online and seeing I needed 1 wood plug I might as well make a trip to town. After her shower to wash the oil from her massage this am, Britt jumped in with me. Off to town in the PLUS 9 sunshine.. and wind. We checked out the new pet store opening today, found a new food for Lola at Peavy Mart, hit Walmart and Rona for project supplies and picked up the cute vanity. Another good reason to head to town late in the day, supper! We ordered Vietnamese take out, grabbed a tea while waiting then jetted home to eat late after 7.

Britt was then headed back to town to meet Brooke and Amber while I went out and gave the nightstand a 2nd coat. I then wiped down the table with mineral spirits to remove the wax, scrap and chip whatever loose flakes came off then scrubbed with brush and water the rest until the table looked just like it did before I put a load of time into.

Britt was home before 11 as I was making a tea and finishing up the blogs. She was off to watch movies now. I was still working on project blog posts till 1 when I thought best to shut it down till tomorrow, good night all!
