Sunny Sunday

What a lovely sunny day, however my headache remained thru the night and this morning. ;( I went to work on the dresser oiling the top and fronts. I moved on to painting the body choosing driftwood milk paint for the color.

Britt rolled in at 11 as I was giving the horses some veggie scraps. Seeing it was so nice I eventually cajoled her into riding. (the cold air will do her swollen nose good) Sheldon ventured out in the now plus 2 weather before it got warmer on the skidoo, as I was heading out to catch horses he drove up with another coyote.

Britt helped catch the horses with a few chuckles with us both on Pepper trying to catch another 2. Eventually we got them and with more chuckles getting Britt on Pepper via my foot. Sheldon joined us for a gorgeous ride in the now PLUS 6 sunshine.

Lola was excited to get out for a walk too

and the 3 in the pen got a work out too chasing us from pen to pen

Sheldon was to video my snow lope

 but only got stills.. lol

He swapped Britt Pepper and let Daisy out while he skinned his kill. After our ride, I touched up the fellows feet, we let them roll in the sand and released the beasts. Britt headed in, I gave Lola a good brush, crazy how much hair she is shedding already. Snack time with chips and guacamole. Britt made banana muffins too.

The hunter joined us too after building his stretchers.

The muffins came out as Grama and Papa arrived at 4:30 and our evening was spent visiting, eating and drinking. I did sneak out and power sand the dresser body quick when letting Lola in ;)
