hutch gets hauled in

Bright and sunny morning for coffee in bed but it stayed a brisk just under freezing day. Sheldon helped me haul in the hutch and install the glass from the back side before we tacked on the backing. Whew this was a chore and glad for the extra hands. It is much harder when fresh paint is involved and wanting to avoid scratches. So here it is without the door glass in. This sure helps for photographing.

However once the photos were done we put it in and I uploaded the shots. UGH I need a pop of color in the center and with the door glass in it hampered my shots. Sadly I do not have any pop such as red, yellow, orange or fushia. Time to walk away.

Sheldon had a nap in the sun while I packed my suitcase@! I did roust him so we could head to town at 3. Errands to drop off take it or leave it, sign bank document, grab some staging props, hit my lab appointment for blood donation, a quick tan and then stock up on groceries! We dropped off the trash and grabbed the mail, it sure adds up in a couple weeks but usually all bills ;)

We managed to do all this in two hours, time to celebrate with a cold beer. Stuffed salmon supper, yum! Sheldon was off to watch the flames while I scoured my supplies for something to fit the space and paint a pop of color. I finally chose a wicker basket and painted it yellow. Lets see if this does the trick tomorrow.
