custom pieces 98% finished

Last night I had to wait for the internet to work to finish the last episode in season 3 of The Fosters. Being done at 1 am, I shut it down only to have Lola barking at 3. Rather then risking an accident in the am I let her out. Bad idea as for the next 2 hours I could not convince her to come back in. It was snowing and quite lovely out for -21 so she was wall over the place. Yep I had more banana bread and played candy crush to try and pass the time but at 5 am I said forget you can sleep out side and that is exactly what she did until I let her in at 9! Not sure she really cared to tell you the truth ;)

The red sets got staged and posted later in the day along with the other red things for the booth. As well they were priced & tagged.

The drawers were sanded smooth and got first coat of paint while I carried on giving all the rest a second coat and the drawers too seeing they were dry by the time all was finished. Almost done, just need to choose hardware.

time to decide on hardware, I sent these pics of gold vs silver on the desk, she chose silver

Shandi's table got another coat then the fun began to finish it up with distressing and dark waxes.

loving the dark wax .. below the top shows 1/2 solid and 1/2 dark waxes

I text Sheldon to see when he would be home tomorrow, surprise it is tonight! His weeks change now to Monday-Monday. So with the last of the NY roast I made stroganoff for supper and he will eat when home later tonight.

Kaylin is planning to come paint Ada's gift tomorrow so to speed the process, I scrubbed them up while I was washing brushes. The wind howled most of a brisk -17 cold day. Sheldon arrived safely home just after 10 and promptly hit the sheets and sleeping!
